Stacy and I finally received the Cineskates we’d helped fund on KickStarter.

Stacy and I were rolling our Cineskates at the same time (opposite eachother) at a slow shutter speed of 1/13th sec.
After four hours of manhandling the three unwieldy legs of the tripod, our crippled hands managed to find a way to finally get a smooth video dolly shot. Thanks to my star, Stacy (who needs to remember lyrics better:-)).

Sandi and Stacy out for a birthday dinner.

I pick up the camera, Stacy picks up being silly.

Pretty girl.
So many of us went to the screening today. Stacy was higher than a kite, with reason. I believe Stacy’s short video was the best of the 6 submitted Local Sightings videos from the Coachella Valley. Bravo to Stacy.

Debbie and Stacy showing their filmmakers' badges.
Here are some of the still photos I shot from today’s screening, that I added at the end of the still photos I’d previously shot and uploaded from the actual filming of Minimize Me.

Stacy and Linda heading out into the desert last week to shoot 'til we drop.
Hope I get back there soon.
Off to an all day meeting but can’t wait to post some more photos in the next couple of days.

Playing with off camera flash, Stacy begins to play for me.

She got her cartwheel but her pants didn't hold up so well! Rip!!!!!!!!!!!

Stacy has endless ideas.

And then it was my turn......my expression tells it all. I had a great time in Joshua Tree with my camera.
Stacy and I are heading out at noon to Joshua Tree National Park for an overnight where we’ll be experimenting with time lapse photography for the first time.

Checking out Time lapse videos in Joshua Tree on Stacy's new IPad 2.
Box of books are the books Ray will be using when he does his Book Study every Tuesday, except for the 1st Tuesday of each month.
In a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.
