Welcome!

Linda JeffersIn a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.

Come join me on my journey!

Baby Noah takes his first bite of a hamburger.

Cynthia asked if I’d be in the delivery room with her when Noah was born. It was a magical time watching Dusty and Cynthia bond with their new baby Noah. Of course I photographed EVERYTHING the 6 hours I was in the hospital/delivery room. I even asked the doctor as Noah’s head was popping out if I could photograph him. The doctor smiled for the camera.

Noah's Dad, Dusty, emailed me this photo he'd take with his cell phone.

Photos from last night and this morning.

I can’t remember if I mentioned I have posted photos here I shot while Cynthia was delivering Noah. I remember not posting that the photos were up until I had asked Cynthia if it was ok that I posted them. I just can’t remember if I mentioned here that I had a Gallery titled Noah – 10 minutes old in the portfolio section of my site.

Yeah! This is the top of the Bump & Grind. Pretty flat, isn't it.

Noah today, and 4 days short of 2 months ago.

Not much time with my camera today, but since I always have the compact camera, I couldn’t resist taking this photo of Baby Noah who is brought to our Wednesday JTBP meeting every week by his parents, Cynthia and Dusty.

Noah is the most beautiful, well behaved baby I’ve ever been around. I have a very special attachment to Noah as Cynthia asked me to be with her husband and Sandi in the delivery room where I shot zillions of photos throughout the day and during Noah’s birth. Photos from Noah’s birth are viewable here. Be forewarned if you are squeamish. And yes, I did get permission post these photos.
