Linda JeffersIn a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.

Come join me on my journey!

Common Bond Ladies

Had a wonderful weekend with these wonderful ladies and many others.

Empowering Conversation During The Hike With A New Friend.

There were 5 of us who got up early (after little sleep) and hiked the Bump & Grind early this morning. There is a weekend event going on here in the desert and throughout today many more friends will arrive. Will be interesting to see who joins on tomorrow morning’s hike.

Early morning hike on the Bump & Grind.

The light was just too good to pass this up. Thanks Eric.

Eric, John, Katya and Melissa jumping for me and the incredible morning we had.

Connie wasn't feeling great and turned back during our hike.

Not Cross (not religious).

I’ve been busy the last four days: Thursday in LA, shooting during our MHCC Hike last Saturday, shooting a New Member Mixer where I represented our Hiking Club, and later a Charity/Auction Event put on by my Trainer and his wife for Desert ARC.

Love this Happy, Joyous, Free Cross I spotted on the way home from Susan’s Wedding Shower on Sunday.

Used some Lightroom presets on this cross I noticed and photographed while driving home after a wonderful day in LA.

I always said that I could outfit 5 ladies with all the gear I have.

Jen has almost all of her stolen gear replaced. A night of getting everything together for our backpack. We're there. Everyone knows what they have left to do.

Can you read what is written on the back of Melissa's computer?

After a Costco run Ray and I did the other day, the girls packed up a few snacks for us all.

Stacy’s movie “Minimize Me” screened at the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival & Film Market today.

So many of us went to the screening today. Stacy was higher than a kite, with reason. I believe Stacy’s short video was the best of the 6 submitted Local Sightings videos from the Coachella Valley. Bravo to Stacy.

Debbie and Stacy showing their filmmakers' badges.

Here are some of the still photos I shot from today’s screening, that I added at the end of the still photos I’d previously shot and uploaded from the actual filming of Minimize Me.
