Jen posing during our hike (can you believe she looks this pretty during our hot, humid, muggy hike?). I’m practicing using a new (smaller) extension tube (EF12 11) sandwiched between the Canon 5D Mark 11 body and the Canon 50mm 1.2 lens. Good focus is difficult to obtain. I’m a couple of inches from Jen’s eye. The depth of field is shallow, probably less than a 1/4 of an inch.
In a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.

She is beautiful….its not fair I tell you.

I agree Susan, it isn’t fair. But I’m thrilled she’ll model for me!!!
Thanks Susan I am amazed at the focus…wow and the capturing of the Mona Lisa spy eyes.
