I went out to do a photo assignment and ended up shooting a father and son fishing on the other side of the 16th hole lake. Thank goodness I hadn’t remembered it was Father’s Day until I started writing this blog entry or I would have been a ball of tears wishing my Dad were still here.

This is my favorite of the 50 shots I helped myself to while Sean and Sean were fishing in the lake 100 yards from our home.
Happy Father’s Day!
P.S. They caught fish after fish!!! I emailed them 24 photos as a thank you.
In a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.

Lovely shots, Linda!
So glad you and I share the love of photography and the Sierra!
Thanks for the great photos Linda.
How thoughtful of you to share your thanks on my blog. Hope your son was proud. I was impressed with his desire and interest to learn to fish as well as see how much he loves his daddy.
