Linda JeffersIn a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.

Come join me on my journey!

Storm At Scissor’s Crossing.

Ray drove down to Scissor's Crossing and brought us to the town of Julian. After a night in Julian where we washed our clothes, marketed and ate at Sizzler's, Ray dropped Jen (Happy Pants), Melissa (Just Kidding) and me (Gottago) back on the trail at Scissor's Crossing in the San Felipe Hills Wednesday morning quite prepared for the rain and gusting wind.

Wednesday night I received a text from Ray saying a larger storm was coming in on Friday. We all decided we didn’t really want to hike our last two days in stormy conditions on Friday and Saturday so Ray picked us up Thursday night in Warner Springs. So glad we decided to get off the trail. We didn’t complete our intended mileage of 151 miles but did complete section A of the PCT (Campo to Warner Springs).
