Stacy has ideas. Stacy puts her ideas into action. Debbie and Stacy work as a team. Stacy’s friend Debbie was a woman experiencing hair loss not long ago. Stacy photographed Debbie all made up looking glamorous with no hair and made a photo book of Debbie’s beautiful poses. That was the beginning of something that may just be the most fulfilling journey ever.
It’s difficult to describe the range of emotions felt during this shoot at Stacy’s. Olga, a professional makeup artist, worked her magic on 3 beautiful ladies, two of whom don’t normally wear makeup at all.
In a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.

Your photos are beautiful Linda. Thank you so much for shooting these lovely photos during our very first Turning Heads photo shoot. It was such an incredible experience.
Hey linda all your pics are really nice, and your too….
Hair loss
Linda, your photos are, as always, beautiful. But these photos are even more than beautiful. They are powerful, dramatic statements about love, life, and spirituality. These awesome women are so much more than their hair; in their baldness, they are bold, brave and beautiful and your photos show the heart of their femininity. I am excited for you that you get to be a part of Stacy’s amazing project.
Beautiful Lind.
Linda,
Remarkable pictures, WOW
As a survivor, and someone who experienced the trauma of hair loss, I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this post. What a wonderful way to express the true beauty of these women. I afraid I am having difficulty finding the words (not something I am use to) to tell you how moved I am.

Michelle, Thanks for sharing your identification and how moved you were seeing the photos of these 3 beautiful ladies.
My friend Stacy (1st comment above) came up with the idea when her good friend was going through her own hair loss.
Stacy is working on putting up a website, and eventually a documentary, as she hopes to promote awareness for people experiencing hair loss as the result of chemotherapy. Linda
