Connie called yesterday and asked if I wanted to hike. I jumped at the invite and we did the Bump & Grind with the rest of the Cochella Valley at 7:30am. Busy.
The Mission Hills CC Hiking Group is starting up again now that the snowbirds are returning and the 100 degree days are over. As the leader of Saturday hikes it’s time I get in shape. Walking around the club for 3 miles, with camera in hand, is not gonna cut it for training.
At the top of the Bump & Grind I turned to find the thin lines of light on Connie’s arms and head. Out came my camera much to her dislike.
In a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.
