In a world of so many great photographers and writers, I am venturing into some unknown territories, leaving comfort zones, finally very willing to practice the art of seeing. By maintaining the practice of posting daily photos, I hope to continue learning about the possibilities that I trust are out there for the taking.
Katy and I had a great time visiting and hiking yesterday. I first met Katy on the trailjournals.com site where she had posted the offer to transcribe and post for thru hikers. I was hiking the PCT in 2003 and needed a transcriber. Since that hike she has transcribed for me on numerous hikes. I got lucky in finding the best transcriber ever and a wonderful friend. It’s an annual tradition now that Katy come for a visit when we are in Mammoth on vacation.
