Linda Jeffer's Colorado Trail Adventure 2005
Having spent many years in Colorado, I wanted to return to the mountains … those mountains that called to me from various campsites at lakes, creeks and valleys. However, having had hiked some of the CDT in Colorado the previous year, I knew I didn't want to backpack alone through this rugged territory.
A woman named La Zorra contacted me about hiking together. We decided to backpack a 72-mile southbound section of the Colorado Trail from Silverton to Durango. What fun!
